News about my babies!!
I love to hear news about my pups from their new moms and dads. I have copied below some of the emails that have been sent to me. I have written the breed of the pup in brackets above each message.

Hi Lisa,
Hope you and everyone are well. I've been meaning to send you pictures of Robbie for a while now. So glad you wrote, it gives me the kick I need to send them.
I have to say that Robbie has been and is a complete joy! We love him so much and can't imagine life without him. He's been a handful at times but in a good way. I never thought I would be able to let him off leash anywhere but over the past couple of months we've been able to take him to this large park near us and let him loose. We say, "Robbie, come" and he bounds right back (the treats help! LOL!) but he doesn't get them every time.
It's hard to explain his personality but like I said he's a complete joy, very loving, very independent at times but loves everybody and everything. The people that live around us love him as well, especially the little boys. He is complete enamored with our little grandson for some reason and our cat, Joey. Joey feels the same way about him. It's so nice to see. We've even caught them kissing each other! Joey just turned 6. He loved our other dog but with Robbie it's something different. They play together, sleep beside each other and bug each other (mainly Robbie bugging Joey!).
In looks, I think he is a mix of Basil and Lexi. I think he has Lexi's eyes. He's gone very blond and the hair on his forehead is almost platinum in the light. When I look at his baby pictures it's hard to believe he could change so much.
Well Lisa, shall go for now but thank you once again for giving us our little man. We love him so much.
Have a very Merry Christmas and the best of New Year's!!
Best wishes,
Dolores & Doug

Hello Lisa...I have been thinking about you in the last couple days....been meaning too write and forward pics....
You gotta know, We've got the best pup ever!!!! Yes, Buster is doing great! He's such a smart dog! Not sure who's dog he is, Dan's or mine's, of course I feed him but he loves to go in the truck with Dan, to his work shop!!! He is by far the most spoiled dog we have ever owned!! Yes , 1st animal to sleep with us!!!
I was meaning to tell you that back before Christmas, we were heading down town, and as we went around the corner , a block away.....at our neighbors....there was a little brown pup.......we had to stop to ask our neighbor who he had there.....well much to our surprise!!!! it was our Buster's Cousins!!! Too Funny!!! One of your Marys' pups, I did check out your site and saw it would have been Marys' and basil's I believe!!! His friend or someone had picked him up the pup at the coast but said it had come from 100mile....they look very much the same!! so much that one day one of my son's friends had took the other dog in his house until we told him it was not ours...so he dropped it back off at neighbors..
What a small world , heehehe!!!
Any hoo...Got to run skiing!!

Hi Lisa:
Giving you an update on Hobbes. I started to taking him to the local dog park (within walking distance from our house) in late Nov. It's a great place for him as it is a large fenced field and there are always other dogs there to play with. Hobbes is a big hit with everyone because he is so friendly, not afraid of anything or anyone and he's just so darn cute! I've had many people ask where we got him and always pass on your website address. He starts obedience class next week - I have been training him already but will be good for him to work with the distraction of other dogs and people around. He is also booked to be neutered - it will be a busy week for him! I know I go on and on, but he is the greatest little dog. He is so affectionate with the family and so friendly with all people and dogs. He is also a pleasure to train as he is so eager to please and quick to learn. My next project is to take him cross country skiing with me - there is one trail at Silver Star where you can take dogs. I met a couple with a Duck Tolling Retriever who take their dog back country skiing - the dogs walks up in their ski tracks and they put her in a backpack and ski down with her! I'm trying to figure out a safe back pack system for Hobbes! I'll let you know how I make out. Thanks again for providing us with a great dog.

McDuff is doing great, he's a really smart dog, and really good off leash. He
loves playing fetch and even loves having his picture taken.

Lisa,
We took some pictures today and I thought that you must see how beautiful our girl is!
Phoebe is doing great. I have simply no words to describe her, so let me just say that she is indeed PERFECT.
Here are some shots (you may want to use them for your website - she's too cute not to be plastered all over the internet!
She loves chicken"n"bones - backs and necks is the name of the game
- I started adding this to her menu since yesterday and she was- for
the lack of a better word - delighted!
No wonder she's growing so nicely!

Hi
there!
Everything is
well here. Maggie is such a lovable character. She is such a mischievous little
cuddle bug. We just love her so much. She also has grown a very nice, thick coat
which makes her even cuter. And She has so much fun with Jock, though, sometimes
he gets a bit bossy, but she doesn't seem to notice. Well anyways, here are some
pictures of them both having fun. And if you would like, you can use them for
your site. Okay, ttyl...Enjoy!

Dear Lisa,
Just thought we'd drop you a line to let you know
how Cari is doing. She's been a busy girl this summer. She's gone camping,
hiking, canoing, finished her second level of obedience, and next Wednesday she
will be starting her first level of agility. We have an agility set and have
been practicing and she's been doing very good. This weekend we're off to rock
creek for another horse show. She's turned out to be such a loving little girl
and we couldn't be more happy. Anyhow we've included some new
pictures.

Hello! Just wanted to say that Cola's Red Collared Male, now called Magnus, is
doing really well, he is a riot. He is super friendly and loves everyone. He has
kept my husband and I entertained since we got him, and he has a real
personality of his own. We are very pleased, thanks again.

Hi Lisa,
Thanks for the note, I have been meaning to drop you a line. We absolutely LOVE our new addition of which we have named ““Ella””! She is a great dog, love having in our house…………………………great company when kids at school! She loves our backyard and we spend hours out there, especially with the great weather…………………………she loves going for walks, can run fast and has great endurance! She is getting lots of love and attention, when have to go out we take her if we can!
From day one, she has slept through the night (she sleeps in the crate in one of our bedrooms each night) and it is often one of us waking her up in the morning, she loves to sleep in the morning……………………………….a bit lazy first thing!!!!! During the day, the crate is left open and she uses it when she wants a rest or a break from us!
Potty training is going fairly well, initially used paper and then have converted to outside, accidents are getting fewer! She instantly does both jobs when taken out in the morning, however other times it can take a bit. We just continue to take her out often…………………………and will do so until she has totally gotten the hang of it.
She had her shots a few weeks back (Sept 29th) and weighed in around 5.5lbs! She eats well and has been very healthy!!!!!
I still go on your website regularly as I love to look at your current puppies……………………………………enjoyed reading the ““potty training””!!!
Will keep in touch!
Thanks again for providing us with our ““bundle of joy””

Hello
Lisa, Just a note to let you know that all is Great! with our
"Buster"......He is cuter than I imagined!! He is settling in....Likes
to harrass all the other animals, (cats and dogs), It is lucky they are
all older females and have a little patience....they snap a
little...but he seems to listen fairly well. My biggest ,youngest
(cheasepeake) can't quite figure why all the indoor toys are not open
game....and only puppies....as she would chew them in minutes!!!
Buster loves the outdoors, and lots of snow! and chasing and following
the other ones around....definately not as much call back out doors as
there is in the house...comes to his name and clapping right away!! or
Dan's whistle!
I will send pictures, later, he is starting to change in appearance,
has a nice square nose, a handsome terrier....my son, has a nice camera
with several lenses and does his share of snapping pictures, pretty
much every day.....of Buster doing all kinds of silly things....
Thank you, and especially for the delivery , early to Bridge Lake....Crystal

Hi Lisa
Here is a picture of our Dickens with her buddies. I just can't tell you how happy we are with her, I don't think I've ever laughed this much in my life. She has just brought such joy to us and she's made our 2 old German Shepherds feel young again!
My Mom has just retired and is moving into the old farm house beside our place. She's always wanted a Cairn when she retired and she's terribly smitten with Dickens so we'd like to get a pup for her. Do you have any litters that would be ready to go late this fall or early winter?
Thanks very much,
Barb

Hi Lisa, just thought I'd send our most recent picture of baby Peanut (yellow collar from Mary/Basil). She's doing great and we love her dearly. She has the sweetest disposition and is happy all the time. In this picture she is 15 weeks.

Hi Lisa it's been a long time. I'm sure you remember we received a puppy from you back in January. We got the Gold puppy. We have since named him Griffen.
I have wanted to send you an email for a long time, but have been very busy, but I guess that's a terrible excuse. We wanted to first say thank you so much for Griffen, he has been the greatest thing for my wife and I. As sad as some may think of this we conside him like our little baby, he is the cutest little guy that we have ever seen and everyone who see's him agrees. I have had so many people ask were we got him and I always direct them to your website. I hope that's ok. His presonality is so great he makes us laugh at least a dozen times a day. He is so very smart and as little experience I have with dogs, I have been able to already teach him to sit and laydown, he is so smart. You won't believe this but we taught him to ring a jingle bell on the back door when he wants to go outside, it only took two days. I got the tip from a friend from Saskatchewan.
I have attahced a couple pics for you you can do with them what you want. We just really wanted to say thank you, we love him so much and can't imagine life without him. I already worry about the day he leaves us, but hopefully that will be many years down the road. We spoil him to death and he lives a great life.
Thanks again Lisa.

Hi Lisa,
I thought I would send a couple of pictures of Zeus. He is doing great. He's outgoing, confident and loves everyone. He is full of energy and spunk. He has been a perfect match for me. He is just about to finish his puppy class and I think I will do intermediate training with him next. He seems to like it.
He has been a great companion and company. I'm so glad that I got him.
Cheers,

Hi Lisa. I wanted to drop you a line to let you know how happy I
am with Emily. She is just over five months old and she and I are having a
great time. We go to Stanley Park and the beach almost every day, she charms
everyone we meet along the way. She loves other dogs and people alike but her
favorite is kids, the smaller the better. She seems to know when it's time to
be gentle. She also seems to have a particular affection for those in
wheelchairs and when she's old enough, I will be enroling her in the St. John's
program to visit senior's centres.
She is completely house trained and has been for a while. She is
so easy to train, a very smart dog. I absolutely believe I got the best of the
litter even though I got last pick. I've given out your website to many people
that have admired her, not just because she's beautiful but because she has such
a lovely spirit.
I'm attaching some recent pictures of her.
Thank you again for her, she is the light of my life.

Hi
Lisa--I'm sure you have your hands full with your next bunch of
puppies! I just want to thank you for our beautiful puppy Lucy. She is
beautiful, healthy, crazy, funny, smart, energetic and cuddly. I just
love her to death. What an amazing personality! She absolutely loves
people which I'm sure is owed in no small part to your socialization of
her. Thanks again. Maybe I'll send you a picture in 6 months or a year
so you can see how she turned out. I must say you are amazing--I can't
imagine having a dozen Lucy's running around--one is enough!
Take care,

Hi Lisa,
Maisie is doing very well. She is an extremely loveable puppy. She
comes to school with me every day and is the most popular thing in
school! Everyone comments on her sweet nature (she doesn't chew on
them!) and her beauty. For Thanksgiving we went to my parents house and
at the ferry line-up she was a huge hit! She is growing and becoming
more aware of everything around her and more and more curious! House
training is finally almost complete (I hope), she now lets me know when
she needs to use the yard. I am totally smitten and have a hard time
leaving her, but today I went shopping for an hour and a half and she
was fine! We begin puppy training on Oct. 30th. I hope all is well with
you.

Happy New Year Lisa!
Here is a picture of Carly taken on Boxing Day -- she is in her toy box, surrounded with everything she holds dear -- her toys! Carly is all we hoped for and more. She is a busy little bee and has developed a protective attitude regarding Dan, our son Jeremy and me. She also has arguments with us every so often about who is boss, is teething big time and chewing everything in sight.
We have introduced her to the neighborhood and she is a HIT with every dog and owner of every shape and size. She has met a young Bull Mastiff who towers over her but thinks he is a dainty little thing, a cairn terrier who is 16 years old, a Jack Russell and various other dog mixes. Carly has accepted them all, and they in turn, treat her with love and affection.
We just adore her. After me, her best buddy in the whole world is our son, who you met. Jeremy dotes on her; the feelings are mutual. We have been taking her out with us with us whenever we can. You may get calls for puppies -- you can blame Carly.
With affection
Christine and Dan
Dear Lisa,
Nice to hear from you.
Little Madison is doing very well. She is a smart and loving little
girl who has a zest for life. She gets on very well with her
doggie-brother Oliver and can keep up with his rough and tumble ways.
She has been reasonably easy to house train and did pretty well at
basic obedience as well. Her coat is very thick and lovely. She seems
to have some light hair in her undercoat, but for the most part she had
stayed fairly dark with highlights that most women would pay big bucks
to have done.
Best,
Tim

Hi Lisa,
That's to funny I was thinking just this weekend that I should send you an e-mail. Mika is doing great, she has the best personality that I have ever seen in a dog. She's so goofy and loves everybody and every dog. At first her hair was kinda thin but she's filled out great. I do have some pictures but right now they are on my camera so as soon as I load them on I'll send you some. I made a scrapebook of everything that she did in the beginning .... everything from her first bath to first visit to the cabins. My parents are always on my case about that. My parents also go a new puppy just a few weeks after I got Mika and they play together all the time. My parents puppy (Saddy) is a golden retriever and she grown quiet a bit more (which we thought we be a problem when they are playing) but mika is completely able to hold her own when they are playing. She very quick and out run saddy all the time. It is quite something to see them playing together --- they play tug a war all the time --- and they wrestle none stop -- and well pretty much all the puppy stuff.
I hope your summer went well. I'll talk to you soon.
Thanks again
Jamie

Hi Lisa,
Here are some pictures that we took this morning.
Lola’’s an active little pup who’’s adapted well in our home. She’’s a
very cuddly dog who loves nothing more than sleeping on our laps. With
her brother she’’s fearless & stands her ground. But most of all
she’’s very intelligent, at 12 weeks we had her sitting, laying down,
waiting & rolling over for her treats.

HI Lisa,
Our new little puppy is doing very well. We have decided to name her
Audry after we saw her. She is such a little cutie and is very smart
about going to the bathroom on her papers. It's amazing, she hasn't had
one accident!
The drive went well, she sat on my knee most of the time and then in
the laundry basket. She slept for part of the night in her laundry
basket and then part of the night with me on the couch. She for some
reason really likes our leather couch.
Thank you for such a special little puppy! We love her.

Hi Lisa,
How are you doing? I just wanted to let you know how much we LOVE Zoe. She has the biggest heart for such a little puppy. Actually she isn't that little anymore. I haven't weighed her but she is such a chow hound! She is fitting in so well with our family and she and Ebony just love each other. They play and wrestle and tug and nuzzle -- so wonderful. And Zoe loves to be held and cuddled. Cara couldn't have a more perfectly suited dog to her personality. She holds her and cuddles her for long stretches of time and Zoe soaks it up. Zoe loves her crate now (on the fourth day that turned around for her). I get up once during the night with her not because she wakes me up but because I get up for myself and then just take her out. She settles back to sleep immediately and then gets up with me in the morning. She is getting the housetraining idea. Yesterday she went to the door twice to be let out. When she has had the odd accident inside she has gone to the newspaper. She is so cute on our walks -- running with her little legs to keep up with Ebony. Zoe has added so much to our lives and I just wanted to thank you so much for her. You raise such well-socialized pups and everywhere we go people exclaim how beautiful or cute she is. She is loving, responsive, smart and full of spunk and joy. Thanks Lisa!
Hope all is well with you and your family.
Love, Sheryl

Hi Lisa,
Here are some pictures of Riley. He's a really good boy. He's lots of fun.
He likes to bark at himself in the mirror, he likes to chase the vacuum and
broom. He gets along well with my other dogs. He likes to
tease them, then run and hide under the furniture, where the big dogs can't
fit. The kids really like him a lot. His last check-up at the vets was on
Nov.23,(12 weeks old)he has his 2nd vaccinations, is healthy and weighs 3.62
kg. He's is really great, we love him lots.
Wendy
(Westie/cairn terrier)Hi Lisa,
Just an update on the pup - called her Cola as the name Zoe brought cries of
anquish from my guys all the way home from Williams Lake. It was settled
before we hit Quesnel I'm afraid. Hope you don't mind!
Anyway Cola is turning out to be a wonderful bright little thing. She spends
all day at work with me and greets people or just spends time chewing toys and
sleeping in her case. I really appreciate that you crate trained her - she has
slept through the night since she arrived.
She is mostly toilet trained during the day but we have some misses in the
evening at home for some reason. She is bright enough and I think its only a
matter of time.
Charlotte
(Westie/Jack Russell)Lisa,
Sorry for taking so long to respond to your email. Christmas was crazy around
my house, not very relaxing that is for sure. I dont have any pictures on my
computer yet of the pup ( Gus aka the gold male) but I thought I should write
you anyways. We love Gus to death. He is so funny, layed back and a very
good cuddler. He loves to sleep, would do that all day if you let him. Him
and our other dog (Bo, who weighs 120 lbs ) get along great. Gus has the
mouth and Bo is the back up. Gus hides under Bo if he is not sure about
something. They are quite the pair. Gus was a joy to have as a puppy. He
slept all night from day one, never got into anything he was not suppost to
and was really easy to house train. He is very smart and almost always
listens.
He is a joy to be around.
Thank you so make for this wonderful gift
Best wishes to you and you family
Happy New Year

(Westie/Bichon)Hello Lisa.
Nova is such a good and loving little girl. I would
be lost without her. I was waiting till spring to get
another new truck after my lease was up on the lastone, but Nova was afraid to ride in the cargo van. SO
that same day I had to go out and buy a new truck.
Kids can make a person go broke. She has traveled
quite a bit and loves to go to Home Depot. She is a
people magnet. She greets everyone by standing,
hopping, and walking on her back legs. She starts
school this month. Thanks for such a wonderful
companion.
Happy New Years to all
Mike and Nova

Happy New Year Lisa.
Sorry it has taken some time to send pictures of your little boy. He is well and has settled into the family. He rules the house. His spirit is tremendous. He loves the kids and our retriever. We bought him a collar that says king of the yard and that’’s exactly what he is. He just had surgery and has recovered without problems. The Christmas tree stayed up but some of the ornaments are missing and some of the presents did not make it till Christmas. I hope you enjoy the pictures. We have been following your web site with the other pups and stewie’’s brothers and sisters. Take for now.
Regards from the Peakes

Hi Lisa,
Sorry it has taken so long for me to reply. Tygon is doing great. He has
adapted so well into our household. We have just finished our first set
of training classes-Puppy Class- and are starting the next level- Pre
Performance next week. Tygon has so mush fun in class and quickly learns
the tasks at hand. (He is so smart) His favorite activities are going for
walks, especially in the woods and playing with us in the backyard with
all his toys. He also loves to cuddle on the couch at night. Tygon has
already made friends with my friends poodle pup, Angus, they love playing
with each other. Tygon is a very friendly pup and loves people. He thinks
that they are made to pet him-so cute. We love him dearly. We will email
you pictures soon. How are his brother and sisters doing?
Have a great week
Cheers, Keara and Gail

He is approximately 10lbs...one sturdy puppy...built like
a mini football player...stocky...
A delightful and charming member of the family..
good natured, smart, fun and obedient ...we could not have
asked or expected more...
Everyone who meets him love him.....
Did we ever thank you? Thank You!
Cheers

(Jack Russell/ Westie)Lisa, thank you so much for our wonderful puppy, who we named Willie. We brought him home in December. He is - as you said to me - so sweet and laid back and affectionate. Very different than my last dog, also wonderful, but a very macho JR.
Willie is a doll.
Thanks again, Leslie

Hi. I wanted to send some pictures of the busy little guy, its really hard to get a shot of him standing still. I also wanted to ask if you will be having any future litters of this mix. My sister and brother-in-law are interested in getting one of your pups. I have to frisk everyone leaving my house to make sure they haven't spirited him away, he's quite the charmer.

Attached is a picture of Elleigh (Ell' ee) that was taken at our cabin in 100 Mile House last weekend. She is a pup of Suzie & Basil, Dec. 16, 2007 (pink ribbon). We took her to puppy school and she is such a well behaved dog. She is a wonderful pet.

Hi Lisa:
We will send another picture of her whole body but
it's rather hard as there is always a Mackenzie girl cuddling her - not such a
bad thing if you're Camryn.
She has adjusted well to country life and is a very
hardy little soul. Loves to play with our black lab cross Liz that goes hard
and she can keep up, no problem. We run day camps here where the kids learn to
ride and just generally enjoy doing country kid activities. Camryn has been a
real hit and just loves everyone.
She has had her first shot and will get the booster
in another week. We have taken her with us to various horse shows from either
just a day show or a week long and she is great. Loves to be with people but
good in her kennel in the trailer when she needs to be.
Take good care,
Judy and Camryn

Hi Lisa,
just wanted to let you know that Jessie is just wonderful. She is growing like a weed, is full of herself, a bundle of joy and makes us laugh a lot. We are so glad she's the pup we got. Hope all is going well with you.

Good afternoon Lisa!
Just wanted to give you a couple of photos of Dee Dee! She is doing really well and has adjusted into our home. she sleeps through the night and patiently waits to be taken out of her crate for her morning pee. She is a very good puppy. She likes to nip and I have a few war wounds
(tattoos) from her sharp little teeth. Hee ! Hee!
Ron and I just love her!

Hello Lisa,
I hope all is going well with you and all the new
puppies.
Just wanted to give you an update on Hudson. Our family is
very much in love with him. He is very smart the kids loving teaching him new
tricks.
He keeps us quite entertained with his personality. He
loves going on hikes and is always at the door if you even mention the word
walk.
So far every rule my husband made when we first got him no
longer exists (Sleeping in our bed, Being on our leather furniture etc)my
husband is the worst out of all of us.
Over spring break we went to Victoria and Hudson had a
blast. Our friends daughter is in an ballet school and Hudson went to visit and
I almost didn't get him back. Here is a picture of him at the studio, as you can
tell he loves to pose for pictures.
Thanks again for the best little puppy,
Sheral

Hi Lisa,
I thought you might get a kick out of these photos of Fergus. He is excellent on our 28' sailboat in all conditions (so smart). He loves the boat, he loves the zodiac and he is a perfect companion on board the boat. He has been overnight camping on the boat and with just a few trips to shore he hasn't even had an accident on the boat. We plan to retire to the South Pacific and he will be coming along as first mate. Fergus has exceeded our expectations in every way!
Enjoy the photos.
